First Half of 2013!

I am absoultely horrible at updating this blog and I always say I will be better at it.. but lets be honest about every 6 months is my average update.. haha. So, here is comes the past 6 months!
January
I moved in with my grandma up in good ol' Utah. I was beginning my student teaching up in Sandy and living with grandma was simply a benefit. I began my student teaching and fell in love with my career choice. The students though a little snotty at times, were some of the cutest kids ever! And they opened my eyes on how to relate to my youngest sister Jaina Marie! I love her to death and because of my 8th grade class I understand now :)
Feburary
The month of LOVE.. bahaha yeah right! Well, at least not for me. No worries though, it was a great month overall. I went to a Valentines dance and dressed up silly with Jessica Adamson and this super sweet girl Shay! We had a blast. Just picture it: Hot Pink Sparkly dresses, bedazzled headbands, and black jackets! Yeah, we looked awesome! haha
March
Uneventful really.. just day in and day out stuff. Student teaching, meetings with parents, and not much more. OH! Wait! Spring break! I went home to CA and literally laid around a did nothing. It was great! A week worth of relaxation :) nothing beats it.
April
Just another month of the year... car problems, teaching daily, meetings, and hanging out with grandma :)
May
The END of student teaching...... I didn't cry on the last day.. that came on Monday when my alarm went off and I remembered that I didn't need to get up to go teach... Yeah that did me in for the next week. I miss those little stinkers!! They seriously made my life! Trying to figure out more ways to get them excited at about reading and about learning. Though at times it was a serious task, ultimately it was worth it. I miss them a ton!!
June
Stevi got married! I went to Georgia and my hair literally had a mind of its own with that dang humidity.. no amount of straightening, blow drying or product could tame the beast that showed up on my head.. I had a blast! We went to the Aquarium, the Coca-cola factory and tastes way too many different types of soda! Just in case you were wondering Europe has some of the most DISGUSTING tasting soda... I was very disappointed to find this out because I adore Europe and I thought everything about it...but I was mistaken. I do not like their soda...

New Year...new goals.. Here goes nothing :)

It has been quite some time since my last post and I have so many adventures and life experiences to catch up on. I went a a cruise, a study abroad, and I walked :) My life has been amazing and I have been so blessed :) Lets start with SPRING semester!
I moved to a different complex for the first and last time since being in Rexburg. I lived at the Ivy and I met some amazing girls! Marissa, Katy and Cassie! Love them to death we had some amazing times! I went in a cruise in the spring for our family reunion and it was AMAZING!! LOVED IT!! I now have a new hobby :) It was such a blast! We went to Alaska and let me tell you it is BEAUTIFUL! I had so much fun! We went fishing and I caught one ugly fish called a rock fish. It was orange and awful! However, on the plus side we did feed it to an Eagle! It was just like one of those national geographic moments, loved it! The little towns were great, I don't know how people could live there year round, but they were all beautiful and fun to visit. We had a lot of family time on the boat. I gambled with my grandma and I managed to make money. Who would've thought? haha. My Uncles taught me how to play "craps" I think that is what it's called. That game is a complete waste if you ever win while playing that game its good to just leave with the money that you won. I absolutely loved the time that was spent with my family on the cruise. There were so many good memories made from that trip and I cannot wait for more :)
The seven week BREAK!
Went home for the break spent a lot of time with the family and one of my best childhood friends got married! YAY!! I was in her wedding and she looked AMAZING!!! Had such a good time :) After her wedding I went back up to Rexburg to spend a few days and went to YELLOWSTONE with Cassie, Nina, Quinn and Seth. It was a really fun trip and I really enjoyed the day seeing Yellowstone and hiking around the place :) Then it was back home for some more adventures with the fam bam! Woot! woot! Old town San Diego- great! Mormon Battalion- awesome! "breakfast" more like lunch everyday with the Cuellars :) We had so much fun :) Played many hours of Song Pop haha a very addicting game.
FALL SEMESTER
Study abroad last semester at BYU-I! oh MY!! It was a blast!! I met some really great people that I know I'll be friends with for a long time :) I have some great memories and some amazing inside jokes :) I saw so much and I am already planning to go back! I don't know exactly when I will get back, but I know I will go back :) I can't wait to see the greens and great places again :) After coming back from my study abroad it was back to the read world... good thing though I was roommates with my BEST FRIEND Jordan!! I love that girl!! We have the best time together and I am so grateful for her! We had some really good FHE brothers they would always let us just come over and hangout for hours haha and they actually liked us there.... who would've thought :) haha They took us shooting and it was a blast!! I love going shooting and I think I'm actually getting better at it :} We also went sledding with some other friends and it was super fun! we dressed up crazy! and it was seriously so much fun! HALLOWEEN-dressed up as the sister wives with my roommates :) it was so funny!!!! and then the next night we dressed up as Giants players haha it was great! Thanksgiving was good had Thanksgiving dinner 3 times over the break.... that is a ton of food! We went to the Zoo with my cousins and it was so much fun!! I love my family SO much! After break it was back up to Rexburg and time for ugly sweater parties, eggnog, candy canes, ugly turtlenecks and so much more. There were "caging" adventures to pictures with Santa! (p.s. I KNOW HIM!!!) so much fun! Sadie, Reina and Mary were my partners in crime for most of these adventures. We also had a mocktail party which was hilarious :) Sang Christmas carols horribly! started to make a 12 days of Christmas video haha and had sooo much fun while doing it! Then the semester was over... NOOOOO and it was time to walk at graduation.. it was great my mom and grandma came and it was awesome :)
Christmas time at home with the family :) got a puppy! oh yeah!! Talk about awesome! and a sewing machine...I think it was my moms way of saying I need to be more domestic...silly mom. We had our annual cousins Christmas party in Palm Springs and it was fun. Went swimming, shoppping, ate great food, played cards, watched movies and went ice skating. OH and we went shooting a great family tradition.  Last year was great and I cannot wait to see what amazing things are in store for this year :)

WOW

Holy Cow it has been forever since my last post I am horrible at keeping this thing up to date. It has been almost an entire year since I have updated it...YIKES. Well, a lot has happened and a lot has stayed the same. I graduate in December and student teach right after that.. and then well I don't really know what the plan is... I am going back to Europe in the fall for my last semester of college and it is going to be amazing!! I am so excited!! I am going on a cruise with my family for my family reunion this year to Alaska and it is going to be so much fun :) I am in the middle of a semester right now and it is rough I teach down at the elementary school a few times a month for one of my classes and 12 yr. olds are brutal! LOL

So I am home now.. after a long ride . And I officially win the ROYAL JERK card (in regards to leaving) But I can't change it now... So now I get to figure out life here at home and I don't know what I am going to do.

Snowing.....

So it is April 8th and it is snowing! Oh how I love the Rexburg weather... :/ I took the last of my finals today and that felt glorious :) However, the pack that has followed has been less than enjoyable.... I am to the point where I just want to throw everything out now... oh moving. Packing is like putting together a puzzel, only you don't have a picture to know what it is supposed to look like. So it becomes a real challenge... Good thing I have my sister here to help me :) good ol' slave labor..haha

Tonight was a good night. Jess and I went on a double date, I got to hear about a "fishing trip", and I am pretty sure Jess did too :)

The Journey...

So this semester has been on for the memory book..... haha if I could only post a video of it :) Well school is going... and I cannot wait for it to be over :) I love my classes but I am burnt out. I am going home for the summer, and I am happy about it, but I am going to miss Rexburg. I feel like I need a vacation...
